At the end of November, we received notification from the Wuxi Municipal Federation of Trade Unions that our company had been awarded the title of “National Model Unit in the 2014–2015 ‘Ankang Cup’ Competition” by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the State Administration of Work Safety. On the morning of December 5, Zhang Fenfang, Chairperson of the Qianqiao Subdistrict Federation of Trade Unions, personally presented the plaque and certificate of honor recognizing our company as a “National Model Unit in the ‘Ankang Cup’ Competition.” The national “Ankang Cup” is a mass-based initiative that applies competitive, reward, and incentive mechanisms to workplace safety activities.

On the morning of December 5, Zhang Fenfang, Chairperson of the Qianqiao Subdistrict Federation of Trade Unions, personally presented our company with the medal and certificate of honor for “National Model Unit in the ‘Ankang Cup’ Competition.” The national “Ankang Cup” is a mass-based competition that integrates competitive, reward, and incentive mechanisms into workplace safety initiatives, focusing on “safety” and “health.” Initiated in 1999, it recognizes outstanding achievements every two years and is regarded as the most authoritative award in China’s safety sector. This year’s workplace safety competition was jointly organized by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the State Administration of Work Safety, with participation open to enterprises and institutions across all sectors and industries, attracting a total of 569,000 companies nationwide. Chairperson Zhang remarked: “Your company has truly set an excellent example. Across the entire Huishan District, only two organizations have been honored with this distinction, and yours is one of them. Congratulations!”
Rong Rong, the company’s safety officer, briefed Chairman Zhang: “The company has always placed workplace safety as its top priority. Next year, we will take our safety initiatives even further down to the grassroots level, enhancing employee well-being through greater humanistic care. We will continue to proactively organize skills competitions and labor contests, aligning them with the requirements of safe and civilized production, while steadily expanding the reach of the ‘Ankang Cup’ competition. Our goal is to help all employees shift from ‘I know how to be safe’ to ‘I can be safe,’ thereby consolidating a sustained and stable safety record and ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s production and business activities.”
